This course features a new comprehensive Update in Pediatric Dentistry. For example, attendees will learn the current concepts in the causes and dental implications of the alarming increase in pediatric asthma, ADHD, and autism. Two new topics that have been added to this updates lecture are new psychological insights and research on Behavior Guidance and MIH, molar incisal hypomineralization. Participants will learn the latest concepts in caries formation and prevention which will include GIC sealants, SDF, as well as how to perform a CAMBRA, caries risk assessment. The topic of Pulp Therapy will include pulpotomies, Direct and Indirect pulp caps and the use of Tricalcium Silicates, e.g., Biodentine. The topic of Restorative Dentistry will include new designs in tooth preparation such as the slot prep and the Hall Technique and when to use bulk fill or packable composites vs. GIC. Participating clinicians will be able to use these treatment modalities in everyday clinical practice.
