Endodontic micro-surgery is a highly successful procedure with the use of modern micro-surgical techniques and armamentarium, as well as appropriate case selection. Using an evidence-based approach as well as clinical examples, this presentation will highlight the steps of modern endodontic micro-surgery, including pre-surgical and intra-operative hemostasis, soft tissue management, osteotomy preparation, root-end resection and preparation, root-end filling with bio ceramic/ biocompatible filling materials, wound closure and post-operative care.
